We are a unique effort between Montana counties and non-governmental organizations along the Montana-Idaho border to conduct an independent analysis of the Mountain States Transmission Intertie (MSTI).

Our work began in September 2010 when Madison County, MT asked for assistance in collecting more independent information and evaluating the impact of the MSTI line on their community. The MSTI Review Project is now taking this initial body of work and completing it for the entire extent of the MSTI line in Montana and Idaho.
